Elektra Luxx (2010) ❤Director: Sebastian Gutierrez
This is not as pornographic as the title sounds..in fact, it’s not pornographic at all and barely has sex in it. So zip up your pants boys..and girls. The only thing that’s closest to porn-related is how she’s a newly retired porn star. And this will be the last time I use the word “porn”…so, Carla Gugino plays this Elektra Luxx woman and might I say she suits the look of her profession well. Her character is actually from a movie that precedes this one called Women in Trouble, which is done by the same crew so their style of comedy is carried on. Maybe not a style, but it has this TV feel to it. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad though, I think I was intrigued enough by the characters and their stories. For one, I absolutely love Adrianne Palicki. Mainly because I recently saw her kick butt in the new G.I. Joe movie. I wonder if that had anything to do with her and Regular Joe starring in this one together. I know that’s one thing that I enjoy, watching actors work on more than one movie together because the chemistry is more likely there. Other than Palicki, the rest of the cast is very likable too so I would definitely be willing to watch more if there’s going to be any.
